Welcome to ShapeLines ("we," "our," or "the App"). Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to protecting your privacy and describes what information we collect (or don't collect) when you use ShapeLines.

ShapeLines is developed and maintained by Ivans Cvetkovs ("Developer").

ShapeLines is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information from our users.

ShapeLines does not collect:

Game Data Storage

Local Storage Only

ShapeLines stores the following game-related data locally on your device only:

• Game settings and preferences (theme, sound settings, language)
• High scores and gameplay statistics
• Achievement progress
• Tutorial completion status
• Current game state for resuming gameplay

This data is stored locally on your device and, when iCloud is enabled, synced privately via your personal iCloud account (end-to-end within Apple's infrastructure, inaccessible to us or any third parties).

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you enable iCloud in your device settings:

• Your game statistics and progress may sync across your devices using Apple's iCloud
• This sync happens through your personal iCloud account
• We do not have access to your iCloud data
• Apple's privacy policy governs iCloud usage

Game Center Integration

ShapeLines integrates with Apple's Game Center for:

• Leaderboards
• Achievements

When you use Game Center features:

• Your Game Center profile name may be visible to other players on leaderboards
• Your achievements and scores are managed by Apple's Game Center
• We do not receive or store any Game Center data on our servers
• Apple's privacy policy and Game Center terms apply

AI Hints (Apple Foundation Models)

ShapeLines can generate gameplay hints using Apple's Foundation Models framework (iOS 18+):

• AI hints are generated entirely on-device
• Board state and gameplay context are processed locally on your device
• Nothing is sent to Apple, the Developer, or any third party
• No AI training occurs on your data

Third-Party Services

ShapeLines does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

The only third-party service used is Apple's Game Center, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/privacy/

Data Security

Since we don't collect any personal data, there is no risk of your personal information being compromised through our app. All game data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage mechanisms.

Children's Privacy

ShapeLines is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or anyone else. The app does not require any personal information to play.

No Account Required

ShapeLines does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to play the game.

Permissions

ShapeLines does not request access to:

• Camera
• Microphone
• Contacts
• Location
• Photos
• Calendar
• Reminders
• Or any other sensitive device features

The app only uses:

• Local storage for game saves
• Optional iCloud sync for cross-device progress
• Optional Game Center for leaderboards and achievements

Changes to Game Features

If we add new features that might affect privacy (though we don't plan to), we will:

1. Update this privacy policy
2. Notify users through the App Store update notes
3. Never collect personal data without explicit consent

Data Deletion

To delete all local game data:

1. You can delete the app from your device, which removes all local data
2. Or reset statistics from within the game settings

To remove Game Center data:

1. You can manage this through your iOS Game Center settings

Your Rights

Since we don't collect personal data, there is no personal information to:

You have complete control over your local game data through your device.

International Users

ShapeLines is available globally on the App Store. Since we don't collect or transmit any personal data, there are no international data transfer concerns.

Marketing and Communications

We do not:

• Send marketing emails
• Send push notifications
