Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of ShapeLines ("the Game"), developed and owned by Ivans Cvetkovs ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or playing the Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Game for your personal, non-commercial use.

3. Ownership

The Game, including all intellectual property rights therein, is and will remain the exclusive property of Ivans Cvetkovs. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or service marks.

4. User Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Modify, adapt, hack, or reverse engineer the Game
• Use the Game for any commercial purpose without our written consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Game
• Use any automated system to access the Game
• Interfere with or disrupt the Game or servers/networks connected to the Game
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Game Center and Leaderboards

5.1 Game Center Integration

The Game integrates with Apple's Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. Your use of Game Center is subject to Apple's Terms of Service.

5.2 Fair Play

You agree to:

• Play fairly and honestly
• Not use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, hacks, or any unauthorized third-party software
• Not manipulate your score or achievements through illegitimate means

5.3 Leaderboard Rules

• Scores obtained through cheating or exploits will be removed
• We reserve the right to remove any player from leaderboards for violations
• Board size-specific leaderboards ensure fair competition across difficulty levels

6. In-App Purchases

6.1 No In-App Purchases

The Game is free to download and contains no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no advertising. Every feature is available to every player.

6.2 Payment Terms

If paid content is ever offered, all purchases will be processed through the Apple App Store and subject to Apple's Terms of Service.

7. Game Content and Updates

7.1 Updates

We may update the Game from time to time to:

• Add new features
• Fix bugs and improve performance
• Balance gameplay mechanics
• Ensure compatibility with new devices

7.2 Changes to Game Mechanics

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Game, including but not limited to:

• Board sizes and difficulty levels
• Scoring systems and multipliers
• Game modes and features
• Leaderboards and achievements

8. Statistics and Data

8.1 Game Statistics

The Game tracks your statistics locally and via iCloud, including:

• High scores (overall and per board size)
• Games played
• Lines cleared
• Combos and achievements
• Play time

8.2 iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud, your game statistics will sync across your devices. This requires an active iCloud account.

8.3 Game Center Data

Achievement and leaderboard data is stored by Apple Game Center according to Apple's privacy policy.

9. Privacy

9.1 Data Collection

We respect your privacy. The Game:

• Does NOT collect personal information
• Does NOT track your location
• Does NOT share your data with third parties (except Apple Game Center as described)
• Stores game progress locally and in iCloud (if enabled)

9.2 Analytics

The Game may use Apple's analytics to improve performance and user experience. This is anonymized and aggregated data only.

10. Disclaimers

10.1 "AS IS" Basis

THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10.2 No Guarantee

We do not guarantee that:

• The Game will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Game is free of viruses or other harmful components
• Results from using the Game will be accurate or reliable

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IVANS CVETKOVS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Loss of progress, scores, or achievements
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Game

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE GAME (IF ANY).

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the Game at any time by deleting it from your device.

12.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Game immediately, without prior notice, if you:

• Breach these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Violate the rights of others

12.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your license to use the Game terminates
• You must delete all copies of the Game
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

13. Age Requirements

13.1 Minimum Age

The Game is rated 4+ and suitable for all ages. However, you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to create a Game Center account.

13.2 Parental Consent

If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.

14. Apple-Specific Terms

14.1 Acknowledgment

You acknowledge that:

• These Terms are between you and Ivans Cvetkovs, not Apple
• Apple has no responsibility for the Game or its content
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support

14.2 Apple's Rights

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you.

15. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Displaying a notice in the Game (if applicable)

Your continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.

17. Dispute Resolution

17.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us.

17.2 Binding Arbitration

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

17.3 Class Action Waiver

You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity and not as part of any class or representative action.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Ivans Cvetkovs regarding the Game and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
